It’s been freezing every night this week – so spare a thought for the Big Kahuna install team, who were in Newtown doing an experiential installation for Adshel and Philips. They transformed the bus interchange on Enmore Road into #Huetown – a dynamic, interactive light and sound experience that synchronises 24 Wi-Fi connected Hue globes with a selection of various tunes. The temp got down to about 5 degrees, but they were installing the hottest display – certainly a warm up for those heading into Vivid Festival!!
Through an interactive panel display, #Huetown visitors and commuters, can select their preferred music choice from six different genres representing some of Sydney’s landmarks (Circular Keys, Opera House, Surry Chills, Bondi Beats….. ) and be immersed in a fabulous light and sound user experience.
The LED technology inside every hue wireless LED bulb is a little bit special. It can display different tones of white light, from warm yellow white to vibrant blue white. It can also recreate any colour in the spectrum.
Like a disco in a bus stop, the amazing Philips Hue installation will light up from 1 June and turn Newtown into Huetown until 14 June 2015. Check it out on the corner of Enmore Rd and Stanmore Rd Newtown.
